John R. Fernandez, MD
John Fernandez maintains active practices as both a medical doctor and lawyer, treating vulnerable individuals with acute illnesses and injuries in both the hospital and courtroom settings. His experience as a highly-respected Emergency Physician adds a unique and invaluable dimension to his legal representation of those who have suffered catastrophic injuries and/or paralysis as result of medical malpractice, accidents, misconduct, and other misfortune. He also advises and serves as an expert witness for attorneys across the country, who regularly seek his assistance in cases involving acute emergency illnesses and injuries.
John performed his Emergency Medicine residency at St Vincent/Mercy Medical Center, where he conducted research and held a teaching resident position. He has also taught at the Florida State University College of Medicine. He has since chaired the departments of Emergency Medicine Radiology and Pathology at Sebastian River Medical center.
An accomplished musician, Commercial pilot and 100 ton Master Merchant Marine Captain, Dr. Fernandez brings a wealth of experience to all sorts of matters.
